Home FAQ

Walk-ins are welcome and we do our best to accommodate everyone, but a booked slot means you are seen at your time with no waiting. You can book on WhatsApp at 8076690131 or call the clinic directly.

Your first visit is a full oral examination — every tooth, your gums, your bite and, where needed, a digital X-ray. Dr. Gaur then walks you through exactly what she found, what is urgent, what can wait, and what each option costs, before anything is started.

A consultation and checkup takes about 20–30 minutes. Cleaning is around 40 minutes, a single-sitting root canal 45–90 minutes depending on the tooth, and crown fitting about 30 minutes. We will always tell you the expected time when you book.

This is the question we hear most, and the honest answer is no. The pain people remember is from the infection, not the treatment. With modern local anaesthesia and rotary instruments, most patients describe it as no worse than a filling — many say they felt nothing at all.

In most cases, yes. Using rotary endodontics and an apex locator, uncomplicated cases are completed in a single sitting. Teeth with severe infection, curved canals or a re-treatment may need two visits so the canal can be properly medicated in between.

For back teeth, yes — a root-treated tooth becomes brittle and can fracture under chewing force, and a fracture usually means losing the tooth. A crown protects that investment. For some front teeth a well-bonded filling can be enough, and we will tell you honestly which applies to you.

By the first birthday, or within six months of the first tooth appearing. Early visits are short, friendly and mostly about making the chair feel normal — that alone prevents a lifetime of dental anxiety.

We never rush and we never force. The first appointment may be nothing more than sitting in the chair, counting teeth and going home with a sticker. Trust is built visit by visit, and treatment only starts when the child is comfortable.

Absolutely. Milk teeth hold space for permanent teeth, and an infected one can damage the developing tooth underneath as well as cause real pain. Early fillings and sealants are simple; neglected milk teeth rarely stay simple.

Call us immediately at 8076690131. Dental emergencies are prioritised and we will fit you in the same day wherever possible. Until you reach us, rinse with warm salt water and use a cold compress on the outside of the cheek.

Possibly, if you act fast. Hold the tooth by the crown, never the root, rinse it gently in milk or saline without scrubbing, and either place it back in the socket or keep it in milk. Reach us within 30–60 minutes for the best chance of saving it.

Severe or throbbing toothache, facial swelling, bleeding that will not stop, a knocked-out or fractured tooth, a lost crown on a sensitive tooth, or an abscess. Swelling that reaches your eye or throat needs immediate attention — call us straight away.

Cash, UPI, all major debit and credit cards, and bank transfer. For longer treatment plans such as implants, full-mouth rehabilitation or orthodontics, payment can be staged across appointments.

Always. After the examination you receive a clear, itemised plan with the cost of each procedure and what is optional. Nothing is started without your go-ahead, and if something unexpected is found mid-treatment we stop and discuss it first.

We provide detailed invoices, prescriptions and treatment records that you can submit for reimbursement to your insurer or corporate plan. Bring your policy details along and we will make sure the paperwork is complete.
